For the promotion of Horticulture and Afforestation, GSKS has raised Nursery of Teak, Guava, Mango, Coconut, Lemon, Cashew nut, Papaya, Jack fruit, Akasia, Chakundi, Sibabul, Pineapple, Drumstick etc. The following table has indicated the distribution of seedlings to people during the last 3 years.

GSKS has helped the Tribal farmers for agricultural development by using modern technologies through various training programmes. During 1998-1999 it has helped 35 tribal families of Parida and Gaiba G.P. on vegetable cultivation which includes land preparation, sowing, treatment, procurement and fertilizers etc. it also distributed hybrid seeds of Brinjal, Lady’s finger, Chilly, Beans and Radish etc. During 2000-2001 at Bapanabudi, Field Center, GSKS has organised a crop demonstration programme by a team of agricultural scientists. They have imparted different method of cultivation to 20 tribal farmers of Parida G.P. of Gumma Block.
